In 1968 his son Hans-Carl Koch entered the Sinar company. Sinar became a family shareholder company.
At the same time production started at the new plant in Feuerthalen.
1970
In 1970 a new construction, the Sinar p (perfection), replaced the good old Sinar camera which had been produced for 22 years. Subsequently Sinar expanded its modular system with the c and f cameras.
1978
Sinar was the first camera manufacturer using microprocessors in the revolutionary Digital Shutter and the Exposure Module. The selective exposure metering in the film plane provided the photographer with outstanding convenience in operating the camera and with the ideal automatic.
