1984 - Sinar p2
In 1984 Sinar startled the experts presenting the Sinar p2 large format camera.
This superb professional camera combines elegance, perfect versatility and high precision of the adjustment technique with great stability and ruggedness.
The consequently applied CNC production technique on the most up-to-date basis made this jump of quality possible.
Sinar f2 and c2 in black
In 1986 also the Sinar f and c models were replaced by the new black Sinar cameras f1, f2 and c2.
Subsequently Sinar closed its photographic quality chain introducing its own Sinaron lenses on the market, this in cooperation with the manufacturing company Rodenstock.
1988 - Sinar e
During its 40th anniversary year, Sinar showed the design concept for a large format camera that was introduced two years later as the Sinar e camera.
The Sinar e camera is a well thought-out combination of precision mechanisms, microelectronics and software.
With the introduction of computers, compared to traditional working methods, photographers once again were enabled to significantly enhance the quality of their photographs.
